Well I agree with you but at the same time I don’t.
I think smoshers can get a little defensive and bitchy at eachother every now and again. They fight over Melanie, Kalel, Ianthony everything really. But if you look at other fandoms, it’s the same. There is always disagreements and arguments plus you can’t be expected to like everyone. I guess it’s a fangirl thing to be jealous over people who get tweets by smosh cos let’s face it, we all want to get one to feel noticed by our heroes.
However what you said about people not loving them for what they do and just their looks… I think that’s really wrong and untrue. People appreciate them, and like everything in life, their hard work and good jobs don’t get pointed out as much. It happens outside fandom worlds too, even at home when your parents mightn’t congratulate you on a job well done as much as you’d expect. I think it’s quite normal that people would point out their looks more than the job they do, but everyone will be super quick to admit that they’re proud of Ian and Anthony if they were asked. But you’re right, they need to be appreciated more <3
